FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Part Time / Hybrid
The Financial Controller will be responsible for maintaining ownership of the company financials while supporting the company’s strategic plans. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented. We want someone who is flexible and can switch gears to meet our growing business needs. We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to help a fast paced company grow. This will currently be a part time job, with the hopes of transitioning into full time. Responsibilities:- Manage Accounts Payable and payment processing
- Payroll Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Build and lead financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and month end reporting
- Design and direct the preparation of financial analyses and insights that will aid management decisions
- Prepare monthly reporting on the performance of the business, providing insights and analysis on past performance, and recommend actions and improvements
- Month-end close and reporting process
- Work closely with Production / Operations on inventory set-up, inventory costing, and inventory movements
- Ensure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Compliance oriented Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Able to adapt to a fast paced/entrepreneurial environment
